2007-09-03 - 6:25 p.m. I've been looking at the female profiles on faceparty.com. The weird thing is, the ladies often profer their opinion about drugs: They reveal their starsign, sexuality, status, profession, 'makes me happy', 'perfect partner', and, weirdly; 'alcohol', and 'drugs'. Isn't that odd? Odder still is that the majority of them say that they 'despise drugs'. Well, well, well. Why do they need to state this? Is the idea that some handsome stranger will be seduced by a mutual hatred of drugs? 'Hi, how's it going? I despise drugs. I'd just like to say that, right off the bat.' 'Oh, you despise them, too! Wow! It was meant to be!' Or did faceparty simply anticipate that a lot of drug addicts would be using their service and attempting to corrupt these straight-edge vixens? I just don't get it - why is it necessary to say you despise drugs before you start 'e-flirting'? Is it really that important? Why 'despise' anyway? Isn't that a little strong? Can't you just say you don't like taking drugs without professing a hatred for them? Am I asking too many questions? I wonder what goes through their minds: 'Should I say I don't take drugs? Or should I put that I DESPISE them? Yeah, that'll get me some nice, pure cock.' Have they all had bad experiences with drugs or do they just feel the need to say they despise them, lest some coked up fuckup tries to touch-up? It's bizarre, it really is.
